Giving Back Day 10: #DragonflyFriday

We’re all about applying the enormous reach and power of the social web to drive change.

That’s change in the way companies connect with their customers, employees and partners. Change in the way nonprofits think about single, focused goals rather than huge aspirational ideas. Change in the way individuals come to realize that their small act can have an outsized impact when they take full advantage of the opportunities that social technology presents them. It no longer takes massive media spend to get your message across, but it does take a single focused goal, a crystal clear understanding of how deep meaning cements your audience to your effort, and a willingness to experiment to effect change.

Dragonfly Friday (#DragonflyFriday) is about drawing attention to the people and organizations at the forefront of this change. Every Friday we encourage the Dragonfly Ecosystem to tweet #DragonflyFriday when they want to surface people and projects that reflect the new, purposeful, meaningful spirit that we work to capture and stoke in The Dragonfly Effect.

This holiday season, which people and organizations do you want to draw attention to? And another question: what are you waiting for?
