Pursuit of Happiness

Happiness dominates a lot of discussions today. I find it both somewhat refreshing and confounding to think that becoming happy is a worthwhile goal.

But what are the actions and habits that will actually make us happy, as opposed to what we think will make us happy? If we find ourselves wanting to achieve a deep and meaningful goal on our way to happiness, how can our small acts ignite infectious action, and ultimately impact. And how can such effects be fueled by social media?

Jennifer address these and other questions you may have asked in her recent talk at The Ink Conference in association with TED.

Watch Jennifer’s talk for these and other insights:

  • Deep breathing has a real impact on our attention and on becoming centered.
  • Deep happiness is based on finding and doing meaningful things.
  • We can choose the type of happiness we want to experience.
  • The happiness we choose to experience impacts the choices we make.
